highlighted words differ between verses

53:30 · An-Najm · Juz 27

This is the extent of their knowledge. Surely your Lord knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is ˹rightly˺ guided.

68:7 · Al-Qalam · Juz 29

Surely your Lord ˹alone˺ knows best who has strayed from His Way and who is ˹rightly˺ guided.

Part of a three-way set (see 16:125/68:7 batch 5 and 16:125/53:30 this batch): 'your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His way and He knows best the rightly guided'; 53:30 closes a passage on those who avoid major sins, 68:7 follows a command not to obey disbelievers.
