highlighted words differ between verses

20:116 · Taa-Haa · Juz 16

And ˹remember˺ when We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Iblîs, who refused ˹arrogantly˺.

2:34 · Al-Baqara · Juz 1

And ˹remember˺ when We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam,” so they all did—but not Iblîs, who refused and acted arrogantly, becoming unfaithful.

Both relate the command to the angels to prostrate to Adam and Iblees's refusal with identical wording up to 'aba'; 2:34 adds 'he was arrogant and became of the disbelievers,' 20:116 adds 'he disobeyed the command of his Lord.'
